BACK FROM THE DEAD

Reunion set for
families of Hoax survivors

CHICAGO (NSNS)—The first international, family-oriented conclave for children and grandchildren of so-called Holocaust survivors will be held at the elegant Palmer House Hilton Hotel in downtown Chicago from June 30 to July 2.

"Chicago 2002: Living the Legacy" will include the first renunion of about 1,000 Jewish children, whom organizers say were "rescued" from the Holocaust and brought to the United States between 1934 and 1945.

Since coming to this country the "survivors" have led comfortable lives and been highly successful in business, the professions and on the stock market. It was not disclosed whether there would be a special prize for the best survivor story at the three-day event.
