National Socialist Oaths
As we have noted numerous times in the past, the name “Aryan” is derived from the Proto-Indo-European word *ar-, meaning “noble.” One of the central values of nobility, in turn, is honor. One way that an Aryan displays his honor, both to himself and to his racial community, is by taking an oath or a pledge. Once spoken, this oath is then considered binding. An Aryan who willingly and knowingly breaks an oath he has taken sullies his honor, thereby disgracing himself. In a healthy Aryan community, a man (or woman) is only as good as his word.
Oathtaking is an important and serious part of the National Socialist cause. Here are examples of some National Socialist oaths.
Loyalty Oath of the SS to Adolf Hitler – This oath was taken on the National Socialist holy day of November 9th, in front of the Feldherrnhalle in Munich. (Foreign SS volunteers swore the oath to Hitler only as “Führer,” and not as “Führer and Chancellor of the German Reich”).
“Ich schwöre Dir, Adolf Hitler, als Führer und Kanzler des Deutschen Reiches, Treue und Tapferkeit. Ich gelobe Dir und den von Dir bestimmten Vorgesetzten Gehorsam bis in den Tod. So wahr mir Gott helfe.”
Oath of the Hitler Youth – Taken in the presence of the Movement’s sacred Blood Banner.
“In the presence of this blood banner which represents our Führer, I swear to devote all my energies and my strength to the savior of our country, Adolf Hitler. I am willing and ready to give up my life for him, so help me God.”
Armed Forces (Wehrmacht) Oath of Loyalty – From March 16, 1935.
“I swear to God this holy oath, that I shall render unconditional obedience to the Leader of the German Reich and people, Adolf Hitler, supreme commander of the armed forces, and that as a brave soldier I shall at all times be prepared to give my life for this oath.”
The Stormtrooper’s Oath – This oath was taken when a Stormtrooper of the American Nazi Party or the National Socialist White People’s Party was promoted in rank from Probationary Trooper to full Stormtrooper. Written by George Lincoln Rockwell.
In the presence of the Great Spirit of the Universe and before the Holy Symbol of our Race and my loyal Party comrades, I hereby irrevocably pledge –
To THE COMMANDER of Adolf Hitler’s National Socialist movement, I pledge my faith, my courage, and my willing obedience.
To my PARTY COMRADES throughout the world, I pledge my loyalty, even unto death.
To MYSELF, as a leader of the White Man’s fight, I pledge a clean and manly life of honor.
To MY IGNORANT FELLOW WHTE MEN, who will hate and persecute me because they have been so cruelly brainwashed, I pledge my patience and my love.
To the TRAITORS TO MY RACE AND NATION, I pledge swift and ruthless justice.
Heil Hitler!
Sadly, some of the men who swore this sacred oath had an imperfect understanding of the word “irrevocably.”
The Pledge to Adolf Hitler – This pledge was used to open formal meetings of the National Socialist White People’s Party. It is still used by the NEW ORDER today. Authored by Matt Koehl.

The immortal leader of our Race,
And to the New Order for which he stands,
One great cause, sacred and invincible,
The hope and future of all Aryan humanity.

Our Creed/Unser Bekanntnis – This statement of religious devotion is used as part of formal meetings of the NEW ORDER. Also written by Matt Koehl.

greatest figure of all time,
alive in our hearts today and forever.
We believe in His holy Cause,
which is the New Order,
the fulfillment of Aryan destiny,
in accordance with the eternal laws of life,

the true, undivided body of His followers,
which bears the name of His Cause,
as the instrument of His will,
consecrated by the blood of heroes and martyrs,
– the only way to world redemption.
